If you've ever felt stuck trying to move a video from social media over to our community, this simple walkthrough is for you. Whether you want to post in a group discussion or leave a blog comment, we've got you covered.
Here is the best part:
You do not have to be tech-savvy.
You do not have to know every button.
You do not have to understand every setting.
You just need to take it one step at a time.
The Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1. Create Your Video
Open TikTok and record or upload the video you want to share. It does not have to be perfect. It does not have to be fancy. It just needs to be honest, helpful, encouraging, or meaningful.
2. Save It to Your Phone
Once your video is finished, you need to save (or download) it so it lives inside your phone’s camera roll. Think of it like putting your homework into your backpack so you don’t lose it! Here is exactly how to do it:
Look for the arrow: When your video is finished and ready on TikTok, look on the right side of your screen for a little button that looks like a curved arrow (the "Share" button). Tap it!
Find the download button: A menu will pop up from the bottom of your screen. Look for a button that says "Save video". It usually looks like an arrow pointing down into a little tray. Tap it and wait for it to load to 100%.
Check your photos: Close TikTok and open your phone's regular Photos or Gallery app. Your video will be sitting right there waiting for you!
🤫 Pro-Tip: Want your videos to save automatically? Before you hit the final "Post" button on TikTok, tap "More options" at the bottom of the screen. Scroll down and switch the toggle next to "Save to device" to ON. Now, every time you post, TikTok will automatically slide a copy into your phone's gallery!
3. Open Our Website
Navigate to the group, discussion, blog post, or comment area where you want to share your video. Look for the box where you usually type a comment, reply, or upload media.
4. Upload and Post
Select the video you just saved from your phone's gallery. Wait for it to finish uploading, add a short message if you want to explain what your video is about, and hit Post.
