Stop. Breathe. Stay with me.

I know your heart is racing. Your chest feels like you had the wind knocked out of you. I know your hands might be shaking. You’re trying to make sense of what just happened. You might be crying, or you might feel completely numb.
That’s okay.
What just happened to you was not okay, and it was not your fault. You don’t have to figure this out alone.
⚠️ THE CRITICAL QUESTION
Answer this honestly: Are you in immediate danger right now?
Is he still there?
Could he come back in the next few minutes?
Do you feel unsafe where you are?
IF THE ANSWER IS YES—THIS IS A FULL STOP.
Close this and don’t keep reading.
Call 911 or your local emergency services right now.

👉 IF YOU ARE PHYSICALLY SAFE RIGHT NOW…
Stay with me. We’re going to take this one step at a time.
Healing happens one stitch at a time.
Your mind might already be trying to talk you out of this.
“Maybe it wasn’t that bad…” “Maybe I’m overreacting…” “Maybe I should just let it go…” No. That’s not truth—that’s fear trying to silence you. Don’t let it. What happened matters. You matter.
📸 STEP 1: CAPTURE THE TRUTH
I know you don’t want to look. I know you don’t want to make this real. Do it anyway. This is you taking your power back.
Take pictures of your face, your arms, anything that hurts, and anything that’s broken. If you can, take a few photos of the space around you too. This protects you when your voice feels weak later.
📄 STEP 2: SECURE THE RECORD
If the police were called, make sure you get the report number and the names of the officers. Keep every piece of paperwork.
If they weren’t called, you can still call a non-emergency line or go in person. You are allowed to tell the truth—today, tomorrow, or next week. No one can do this for you, but we are here to walk with you through every stitch.
📲 STEP 3: THE SHIELD IN YOUR POCKET
You don’t have to search the web for numbers while you’re hurting.
Download the END SILENCE mobile app. It has a pocket full of emergency contacts and a community to build wit.
We’ve gathered the essential emergency numbers and resources in one place so you don’t have to hunt for them. It’s the roadmap for the mission we are building together.

🛡️ STEP 4: PROTECT YOURSELF
I know this part feels overwhelming, but you don’t have to do everything right now. Just take one step. Look into a protective or restraining order and begin the process. You deserve to be safe.
📞 STEP 5: REACH OUT FOR SUPPORT
You do not have to figure this out alone. Reach out to the National Domestic Violence Hotline. They understand this, and you don’t have to explain everything perfectly.
📖 THE TRUTH FOR YOUR SOUL
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

God sees you right here, in this moment. He is the Master Weaver, and He specializes in mending what is torn.
❤️ HEAR THIS CLEARLY
You are not crazy. You are not overreacting. You are not “too much.” Silence will not protect you—it will only keep you trapped. And you don’t deserve to live trapped.
✊ CALL TO ACTION
If this helped you, save it. Share it. Send it to someone who might need it. Because someone out there is still sitting in silence, trying to find the strength for the first stitch.
Together—We can end the silence.
